Reading/Writing: Listen to the story about Jane Addams.
Objective: “I can write about the cause and effect of an historical figure.”
Directions: Write a 2 paragraph cause and effect response as it relates to Jane Addams. Write final draft in seesaw (follow my directions/ the activity you see on seesaw has other directions.)
Tools: Ipad, seesaw *look over the student sample example in seesaw*
The first paragraph is to describe the events or feelings that caused or led to the important events that cause Jane Addams be an advocate for the poor. The second paragraph is to describe the effects of the important events her in life.
Example:
Paragraph 1: One important event from this book is when Jane Addams . . .
Another event that happened was. . . . .
Paragraph 2: The effect of these important events in her life was that . . . .
The impact that she had on history was. . . .
